GOD'S WORK OUR HANDS
“God’s work. Our hands Sunday" was Sunday, September 13, 2020. This day is an opportunity to celebrate who we are as the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America – one church, freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor.
- Gods Work Our Hands Sunday Each year Living Waters participates in the national day of service with churches from all over the country. This year, we are recognizing two of our local community groups that volunteer their time and talents all year round—the Amwell Valley Ambulance Corps and the Amwell Valley Fire Company. We need your help to recognize these groups. Can you please write a thank you note for their time they give in the community? Or send a picture if you have an artist in the house? We would like to deliver cookies along with a big envelope full of gratitude and love. Send your cards and pictures to: Living Waters Lutheran Church, 11 Old York Road, Ringoes, NJ 08551. (or bring them to the Sunday service if you will be there) We need them by Wednesday, September 2, (yes next week already!) as one of their monthly meetings is the next day.
- We also need thank you notes for the construction team that is working on the church addition. We will recognize them on September 13.
- Our next day for providing 75 lunches for St. Barts lunch program, is Friday September 18. Can you pack 15 lunches? If so, contact Cindy Cooper @ ck_cooper@me.com for details.
